How I Reviewed the ProWritingAid
Forbes is a publication I write lots of nonfiction articles. This is how my usual workflow works for grammar checking these articles.
Write the article using IA Scrivener or Writer Scrivener
Copy and paste a draft in IA Scrivener/IA Scrivener into the editing tool I prefer to use
Make sure to look for any mistakes
The issues are fixable directly in my source file which is in IA writer or Scrivener
Send or publish an editor
Writing this ProWritingAid review, I discovered that my writing process was improved, and it saved me time.
I opened the source file using the desktop application and then edited my documents directly by using the professional writing aid editor tool , with no copying or pasting.
ProWritingAid Review – My Impressions
This grammar checker strikes me as an ideal tool for fiction authors and novelists.
Why?
Grammarly and Ginger are premium grammar checkers that limit how many words you are able to check at a time. You are able to scan a book chapter at a time. chapter.
However, ProWritingAid allows you to open documents in any size, such as your manuscript, and check it all at once.
If you are a writer looking to write more engaging stories, it can be beneficial to check a piece to ensure that it does not include clichés.
Please note, the desktop application only functions while connected to the internet. If you want to write offline, you need to connect before you can use the desktop application.
Grammar checking in the book
ProWritingAid worked in two ways when I tested it for my new book. The first was to upload to ProWritingAid a 45,000+ copy of my book in a Microsoft Word file.
ProWritingAid is now available
Some mistakes in my book. To do this with another tool, each chapter would have to be uploaded to ProWritingAid.
After a short time after which the application ran an analysis and found 261 errors. It also provided additional ideas. This included issues with style.
ProWritingAid allows you to detect style issues. ProWritingAid also allowed me to scan certain portions of my book rather than the entire manuscript.
When I had a large manuscript, ProWritingAid reports did not run as fast as when I was analyzing individual articles or chapters. It takes a long time to analyze larger chunks of writing.
The entire manuscript was checked at once wasn’t quicker than checking chapters on an individual basis.
Then, I utilized the desktop app to open my Scrivener project for my new book. This method was more successful for me.
It didn’t slow down, and offered many helpful suggestions to improve my writing.
I was impressed by the capability to save changes into Scrivener. ProWritingAid is something I will use in all future Scrivener projects.

“We do know that he, like us, is not a fan of adverbs!” Glue index: 61.5 percent vs. Redraft:
“Like us, he isn’t a fan of adjectives!” Glue index: 42.8 percent – length of sentence As you can observe, ProWritingAid contains lots of ideas like these that you can use when editing your article or book. It’s your choice to choose what you want to accept or ignore.

How to Check for Plagiarism With ProWritingAid
The app comes with an ability to scan for plagiarism that is appealing to students and nonfiction writers alike. The tool will require the purchase of credits.
Select More, and then click on the report.
ProWritingAid can make use of your credit. If you don’t have one, you can purchase one.
You can look over any item that is highlighted in blue. ProWritingAid provides these examples as examples of inadvertent copying. Edit, correct or fix the text, cite, or mention.
You can also review the links in the document. This is an example of instances when this text was used online.
I bought a ProWritingAid 10 pack and then used the ProWritingAid desktop application to complete this ProWritingAid Review. After that, I went through several chapters in the book. If you’re concerned, I did not plagiarise while I was creating my book!
However, some chapters in my book are based on articles I composed for Forbes or published on Medium.
I often write articles, then I modify them for a different audience. ProWritingAid could identify the book chapters that were based off Forbes articles, so I was interested to see if ProWritingAid could do the same.
The test was passed and provided hyperlinks to my Forbes and Medium article.
The plagiarism detector is a great tool for anyone who writes academic papers, or those who want to scan the content of their writing to ensure that the content isn’t copied from elsewhere.
If you’ve lost a source or link that you have used, it may help locate citations for nonfiction works.
This is a brief overview of ProWritingAid. You can always reach their customer support for further assistance if you have any questions. Let’s take a look at some of the options that ProWritingAid provides in conjunction with existing tools and editing software.
Integrations of ProWritingAid into Online Writing Tools
ProWritingAid can be integrated with dedicated online writing tools, including Google Docs, Scrivener and word processor.
Here’s how these integrations function:
ProWritingAid: How to Use It with Chrome and Google Docs
ProWritingAid offers Chrome Extensions.
Once installed, ProWritingAid checks your writing wherever you go using its mobile-friendly plugin. Use it to scan emails, social media posts and more for grammar errors.
To scan Google files it is necessary to install a plug-in. It provides summary reports of the content you’ve written. This add-on will work best when your writing is stored in Google docs. It won’t give you access to the full editor. Instead, hover over spelling mistakes and other grammar issues.
How to Use ProWritingAid with Scrivener
Scrivener is popular among indie writers. ProWritingAid supports Scrivener projects.
First, start by opening a Scrivener Scrivener Document in ProWritingAid. The document will show the structure of your folder. Now, go to every folder or file in your Scrivener document to fix any errors on the go.
I haven’t seen this feature on any of the paid grammar checkers.
Scrivener is a great time-saver, particularly when you are using it frequently.
How do I integrate ProWritingAid in Word
You can use ProWritingAid for Microsoft Word or Outlook by downloading add-ins. This add-in is only compatible with Windows therefore I was not able to test it correctly.
While looking into the ProWritingAid review, however, I discovered a workaround. It can be used for Word simply by opening the Word document with ProWritingAid installed. The program will scan the document and detect errors and grammar problems.
All of these can be addressed through the app.
ProWritingAid Alternatives
The most popular writing software options include Grammarly, Ginger and WhiteSmoke. In my review of the best grammar checking tools I have compared each one with ProWritingAid. Moreover, if you want to use a more affordable tool than Grammarly, think about ProWritingAid.
Grammarly Review is a place where you can read reviews.
If you’re writing a novel, I still recommend hiring a human editor as well.
ProWritingAid Vs Grammarly
I discovered that ProWritingAid slightly slower to use than other grammar checkers like Grammarly.
Instead of providing information in text boxes, I was required to click specific errors in a document to view the problem.
Grammarly doesn’t have an app for mobile devices, which means it’s not the ideal choice for those who writes on an iPad.
The detailed writing reports were a great help. They are more thorough than other grammar tests. They will surely appeal to anyone editing a draft article or book.
Understanding the length of sentences as well as the way the words that are abstract and vague are employed will allow you to improve your self-editing skills.
ProWritingAid and other Grammar Checkers
ProWritingAid will find more mistakes than Google docs‘ built grammar checker. But you still have to make a decision on whether or not you want to follow its advice. I recommend that you consult an editor before publishing lengthy articles of writing like as a book.
ProWritingAid is unique among other tools for its speed and accuracy as well as ease of use. You will love using it to proofread your writing.
Can I make use of ProWritingAid offline
ProWritingAid is only available only if you are connected to the internet. It installs an app onto your computer that connect to an algorithm online.
How do I receive a ProWritingAid reimbursement?
You can test ProWritingAid without risk for 14 days. If you’re not happy our support team will gladly refund the money you paid.
How good is ProWritingAid!
